I can’t wait to see the Ink Peppers again on Thursday. I feel like it has been ages since we last saw them. Does anyone know what we will be doing with them on Thursday? I hope we get to spend some more time with our mentees.

Maybe just bring in writing that we are working on? I think that once we see them again things will fall into place and we will know what we are supposed to do.

I think we’ll actually start working on the publications, right? Perhaps our class can come up with something else for all of us to complete which can be an additional piece? I think that might be cool?

I agree Willis. Great idea to think about what you would like to contribute. Ideas? Karen

What about something regarding the college? Since they are doing the community, why don’t we do something about college experiences?? I don’t know if that meshes well or not, but it might be fun. -Aut

I really like Autumn’s idea of writing about our college experiences. We would have to be careful to keep it PG or PG-13, though. Since the theme is community, we would want to present ourselves (as a representation of all Cortland students) as an asset to the community. I would hate to give the world yet another reason to stereotype about college students. -Kaitlin

I think it’s a great idea to write about college life–stressing how it bridges town/gown–that is community and campus. KES

I agree with writing about the college and, as Theresa pointed out, we could consider making it a multi-genre piece. That’s a great idea.
